Skin care cleansers, lotions, creams and ointments may be recommended for those with fragile skin or frequent loose stool.

Scented and scent-free peri-washes and skin products are available.

When used, ointments should be applied sparingly.  

Over-application of ointments may prevent worn absorbent products from absorbing.
