The benefit of an Extended Wear Product is specifically focused toward urinary incontinence. 

Use of an Extended Wear Product when fecal incontinence is anticipated is contraindicated.

Fecal incontinence requires prompt product change to prevent secondary skin issues.

When saturated, extended wear briefs will become very heavy and are not recommended to be worn while walking.
