The cloth-like or plastic fluid-proof back sheet of the bladder control pads prevents urine from flowing through the pad.

Bladder Control Pads are not designed to supplement another absorbent product. 

Overflow of a bladder control pad usually indicates that the a more absorbent pad or another style of product is required.
